Fresh from cementing his power in Beijing, Chinese President Xi Jinping is now preparing to face US President Joe Biden. The leaders are expected to hold a virtual summit on Nov 15. Beijing has confirmed that both sides are in close contact, but it has not revealed details. The talks come on the back of praise from the Chinese Communist Party, where Mr Xi has been described as the country's "helmsman" and the "people's leader".
