Disclaimer: The children were not home when I got the call. My true reaction was in private. The children got off the bus and that is when you hear me focus on the great foster home they’ll be going to and reminding them of their strength. I deliberately edited the children out, and focus the video on my own trauma as a foster mom. This is real and this is common.
