To folks impacted by Hurricane Ida's catastrophic flooding, here’s what you need to know:

On Monday 9/6, President Biden approved a Major Disaster Declaration for New York. Among other forms of aid, this allows FEMA to open up the Individual Assistance (IA) program. The IA program can provide grants of up to $34,000 to help people with damages from the storm - for both homeowners AND renters.
